הדרן התיאטרון החינוכי היהודי, שנוסדה בירושלים ב־2006, מציגה את הקלאסיקות של הבמה המוזיקלית וכן יצירות פחות מוכרות ומקוריות, כדי לחשוף קהל לרפרטואר הזה ובמיוחד לעודד צעירים להיות קהל התיאטרון של העתיד.Encore Educational Theatre Company (in Hebrew, Hadran), established in Jerusalem in 2006, presents the classics of the musical stage as well as lesser-known and original works, in order to expose audiences to this repertoire and, in particular, encourage young people to be the theatre-going public of the future.

בשנת 2006 ייסד רוברט בינדר, יחד עם המנהל המוזיקלי פול סולטר, את ״הדרן התיאטרון החינוכי היהודי״, והפיח חיים במשהו מיוחד במינו. מתוך ניסיון של עשרות שנים בתיאטרון, בחינוך, ביצירות גילברט וסאליבן, בתיאטרון בובות ובתוכניות תרבות יהודית, הביא עמו רוברט להדרן לא רק יצירתיות ותשוקה אדירה, אלא גם אמונה עמוקה בכוחו של התיאטרון לחבר בין אנשים.In 2006, Robert Binder, together with Musical Director Paul Salter, founded Encore Educational Theatre and set in motion something truly special. Drawing on decades of experience in theatre, education, Gilbert & Sullivan, puppetry, and Jewish cultural programming, Robert brought to Encore not only his enormous creativity and passion, but his belief in the power of theatre to bring people together.
תחת הנהגתו צמחה הדרן מחזון לקהילת תיאטרון משגשגת — מקום שבו כשרונות צעירים ומבוגרים יכולים ללמוד, ליצור ולחלוק את שמחת התיאטרון החי עם הקהל הירושלמי כאחד.Under his leadership, Encore grew from a vision into a thriving theatrical community — a place where performers of all ages could learn, create, and share the joy of live theatre with Jerusalem audiences.
בשנת 2024, לאחר 18 שנים יוצאות דופן בראש הארגון, העביר רוברט את השרביט לדור ההמשך. כיום, כמייסד התיאטרון וכמנהלו האומנותי בדימוס, נוכחותו מוסיפה להיות חלק בלתי נפרד מרוחה ומהותה של הלהקה.In 2024, after an extraordinary 18 years at the helm, Robert passed the torch to a new generation of leadership. Today, as Encore’s Founder and Artistic Director Emeritus, his presence remains woven into the very fabric of the company.
